Being a tourist at the United Nations in NY !
I usually don’t do the too touristic route, but I got the chance to get a VIP tour of the United Nations in NYC. I went for it and did the touristy thing - Got pictures of me sitting in the security council United States Seat, of me sitting in the Mauritius seat in the General Assembly and posed in front of the Main speaker pedestal when the Secretary General addresses the people. Reminded me of Model United Nations (MUN) that we had done in high school once. It’s the most touristic thing I did in this trip, but yet all these places are where so many decisions affecting a lot of our everyday life are made !
